The Syngonium 'Pink Salmon' is an enchanting, highly sought-after arrowhead cultivar that brings a glowing, warm-toned pastel palette to modern indoor plant collections. Famous for its soft, peachy-coral foliage, this rare beauty stands out distinctly from conventional bubblegum pink varieties with its delicate, warm salmon undertones.
Each arrowhead-shaped leaf unfolds in a luminous wash of warm salmon-pink and soft coral, accented by subtle mint-green margins and delicate undertones. As an adaptable, fast-growing vine, it quickly fills out planters to create a lush, candy-colored focal point across floating shelves, plant stands, or climbing poles.
Warm Coral & Salmon-Pink Palette
The signature asset of 'Pink Salmon' is its unique pastel hue. Rather than stark or cool pinks, the leaves radiate a warm peachy-salmon tone that glows warmly under ambient room lighting, accented by subtle green edges.
Bushy Clumping or Climbing Habit
Naturally versatile, it can be kept compact and bushy with regular tip pinching, allowed to trail gracefully from elevated pots, or trained vertically up a moss pole to encourage larger, multi-lobed mature foliage.
Caution: Toxic to Pets
Like all premium members of the Araceae family, 'Pink Salmon' contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals. Chewing or ingesting any part of the leaves or stems will cause immediate oral burning, swelling, and digestive discomfort in dogs and cats. Keep it safely elevated out of reach.
Light & Color
▾
Requires consistent, bright indirect filtered light. Ample ambient lighting is essential to sustain the rich salmon-pink blush and prevent the leaves from fading to dull olive green. Protect it strictly from harsh, direct afternoon solar rays to prevent scorched foliage tips.
Watering
▾
Allow the top 40% to 50% of the soil mixture to dry out fully before providing a thorough, deep drench. Syngonium roots prefer evenly aerated moisture and will deteriorate if left in soggy, standing water. Ensure your pot provides fast, free drainage at the base.
Soil & Humidity
▾
Adapts well to moderate household humidity, but thrives best at 50% or higher to keep foliage soft and vibrant. Pot it in a light, well-aerated aroid substrate combining rich peat or coco coir heavily amended with coarse perlite, orchid bark, and horticultural charcoal.
