The Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) is a beautiful, twining evergreen vine known for its glossy, dark green leaves and intoxicatingly fragrant flowers. Its oval-shaped leaves, up to 10cm in length, often turn a deep bronze-red during the cooler winter months, adding year-round interest to any garden. Star Jasmine prefers full sun to partial shade. It enjoys bright, indirect light, but can tolerate a few hours of direct sun, especially in the morning.

Water

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings, especially in cooler weather, to avoid waterlogging and root rot.

Growing Media

This plant thrives in well-drained, fertile soil. A mixture of garden soil, cocopeat, and compost ensures it gets the nutrients it needs to flourish.
