Water your philodendron deeply and then allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out before watering again. Water until it runs out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot.

A good potting mix for philodendron plants should be well-draining, rich in organic material, and slightly acidic. Some gardeners recommend a mix of two parts peat moss, two parts potting soil, and one part perlite or sand. For increased drainage, you can also add a few handfuls of pumice or organic matter such as compost or worm castings.

The at I recieved is bushy and healthy and is doing great. I m very happy with the plants which I bought from soiled comparatively with the others. They are priced high but they serve the quality plants to the customer
The plants are exuberantly priced, for the size they send. Packaging is horrible & the plant arrived with barely 5-6 leaves, that too droopy & without a pot. And it did not survive. A month after receiving, it started dropping leaves. Tried propagating a few healthy leaves, but this plant is dead too. Try sending healthy plants, packed properly. This hasn't been a problem when I order online from other sites.
