Light

Alocasia plants thrive in bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch their delicate leaves. A spot near a window with filtered light or under dappled shade works well.

Water

For watering, keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy—water when the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out. Use lukewarm water to avoid shocking the plant.

Growing Media

Alocasia prefers a well-draining, aerated potting mix, such as a blend of peat, perlite, and orchid bark, ensuring excess water drains efficiently to prevent root rot. Maintain high humidity levels (60–80%) around the plant, which can be achieved using a humidifier or by grouping plants. Avoid waterlogged conditions while ensuring adequate moisture for optimal growth.
